Encouraging nesting nature's way
My back garden is a typical suburban plot but allowed to be as natural as possible. In other words, scruffy!I intended to mow the lawn in late April 2010. As you can see, looking at my fence (panoramic view right to left) it appears rundown and overgrown. As I grabbed the lawnmower I noticed a Robin fly ftom the ivy on the left of the picture shown below.So I grabbed my camera and investigated. |

I left the mowing for another day - which finally happened in May when the fledglings flew away.
